In order to make full use of the online teaching platform to expand students' learning space, build a new student-centered teaching model combining online and offline teaching, and improve the teaching quality and teaching effect, on the afternoon of April 1st, the School of Philosophy and Society invited Teacher Li Minna and Han Ruixin from the Teaching Affairs Office,and Teacher Hou Ping,super Star network platform, held a special training session on online course construction in Conference Room 349 of Qiyun Building.

  Teacher Li Minna focused on the policy of course online. She explained the construction goal , construction content, implementation steps and safeguard measures of this work based on the Implementation Plan of Course Online Construction of Lanzhou University in detail.

  Teacher Hou Ping showed the specific procedures and methods of online operations to teachers through on-site demonstration. First, she distributed online questionnaires to the present teachers to get their understanding of the online course and the function and significance of the platform. Then, she gave a detailed demonstration on how to build courses on the system, add chapters, upload course materials, use platform resources, classroom management, score statistics and other specific matters. She pointed out that teachers can gradually form an online and offline teaching mode through online platforms to guide students to carry out independent online learning, so as to form a scientific academic evaluation system and improve students' comprehensive learning ability.

   The atmosphere was lively and the teachers were enthusiastic about learning. This training session enhanced teachers' understanding of the online course construction, and provided effective help for the education and teaching reform of the college in the next step and the improvement of talent training quality.
